After a while brother Narayanan suggested that Chakrapani should give up school and find work because of the family’s precarious financial state. She worked as a domestic servant doing cleaning in Brahmin homes. A few years later Ramachander also started going to the same school.Sathyabhama called Sathya struggled to bring up her two sons.
